Second day at Krabi, if my memory serves me well, the breakfast used to be THE shit, you could actually cook bacon on your own. I used to roll up a whole lot of them in a jumble and just eat it just like that. Sadly, during this trip however, there wasn’t bacon :(, apparently they don’t serve bacon during low-peak season.

This row consists primarily of noodles and fried lice(yes, you heard me *j/k*)

DSC_1295-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Bread and whatnot

DSC_1298-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

This was where the bacon stand used to sit, now it’s replaced with a glass tank of plants, or noodles. I don’t remember.

Esther and Joven’s breakfast. The mood is tense without bacon.

DSC_1302-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Mine. Yes, it looks shitty in picture as it is in person, just because bacon isn’t there </3

Today we’re scheduled for island hopping. Of course, I forgot to pay attention to WHICH island we’re hopping. I’m assuming it’s dingdong island and rockhardpenisonfire island. (It was either 4 islands or phi phi hop, bah, I don’t remember)

Packed to the roof on the boat.I had to be tied to the boat as a figurehead.

Demonstrated below:

People sure are grumpy in the morning.

DSC_1317-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Possibly pirates. Of the carribean. In thailand waters. Lost.

DSC_1319-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Some cliff and it’s younger sibling right behind.

DSC_1322-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Yeah, the first island. I heard they said there’s this little penis shrine where people pray. Mom told me to go pray there, and I’m like “So, I’m supposed to pray the penis gods for more penises…. in my ass?”

DSC_1323-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Pokemons on the water.

DSC_1324-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

I tried to yank the rope. I thought if i pulled hard enough it’s bound to drag something ashore

Esther, flanked by Joven. Initially, I thought the guy in the background to the right was naked.

We got permissions to get a little site inspection on Rayavadee’s exclusive pavilions. The place feels like a getaway resort from it all. There’s also a 24 hour buggy service where you can just get a ride back out from inside the resort to the beachside/cafe. There’s close to 100 2-story pavilions and about 4 luxurious villas spread out on a 24 acre land.

DSC_1349-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Don’t know why i took this picture. Oh right, dat ass. xD

The in-house restaurant…. sign.

Complimentary 14.00 baht Big Bat Cave. I don’t even.

DSC_1369-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

There’s not much people on this side of the beach, implying that it’s great if you just want a quiet place to relax and chill out.

DSC_1370-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

DSC_1372-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

We only got a tour of the 2-story villas, but it’s still a cool story, bro.

DSC_1373-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

And the 2-story pavilions only hold about 3 people,at most. 5 for families with children.

DSC_1375-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

I believe this is an onion, but i can’t be sure.

DSC_1376-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Downstairs consists of a tv and a big-assed swing chair.

DSC_1377-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Also, a door to some bathtub that you can shower outside.

DSC_1378-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Not as spectacular as i’d expected, but still sounds awesome to bath in.

DSC_1384-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Looks like a face wash sink from this angle.

DSC_1385-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Four season’s bed along with a little long tail boat on the bed.

DSC_1386-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

I wonder how paraplegics will get to their beds.. I’m probably going to hell for thinking that up.

DSC_1387-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Giant slices of luncheon meat, or seat cushions.

Then later, we finally got to the snorkeling area. I keep forgetting to snap photos.

So let’s pretend I have no photographic memory up till the part we find Nemo.

DSC_1390-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

One of the guys from the tour company dived in and caught this fella.

DSC_1393-2011-09-20-11-01.jpg

Camera shy, I suppose.

The day ended with me sunburnt and freezing cold because Joven, Esther, and me decided we’d randomly pour ice water on people from the top of the boat. I think I gave mum fever by doing that. More on that in the 3rd day’s post.

Dinner was again, at Kruathara with more pineapple fried rice. And that night I picked out all the pineapples.

Sidenote : I’d like to apologize for the speed of the posts, due to the fact that I’ve been lazy and also. I’m currently dangerously smitten by a particular lady. More on that in later posts :3

Peace out.

Gentlemen, I have started blogging again. I’ve wondered why anything I write would matter to anyone at all. But screw you, I don’t live for anyone, so LOOK AT MY VACATION PHOTOS.

I plopped myself to Krabi on the 5th of Sept. Buying air ticket 2 days before got me there at RM 5xx (Return flight tickets bought at AirAsia online)

Arrived at the airport and I managed to miss the tour guide who was supposed to pick me up, the last guy from flight AK804. I wandered aimlessly around till I noticed the little sign she was holding up had my name scrawled at the bottom of her little picket sign. All is good, I hop in and get dropped off at the fish/marine sanctuary where we look at food in it’s most raw form, ALIVE.

DSC_1169-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Yeah, stay tuned for the fish feeding show. Because we’ve never seen how fishes eat. I heard they eat souls of little children.

DSC_1171-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Here we’re seen sampling the fish food. Yummy.

DSC_1177-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Secret nuclear bunker found. Do you spot it as well?

DSC_1178-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Damn, I’m good.

DSC_1198-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

I’ve always wondered why lobsters curl up their arse in such a way.

DSC_1200-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

“Holy shit what the fuck is this?” - The 28 year-old man said before he was devoured whole

DSC_1203-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Gummy worms don’t look the same anymore.

DSC_1204-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

The great wall of china at a distance.

DSC_1197-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

One hell of a sexy grouper.

DSC_1211-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Aww <3

DSC_1227-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

So you want a piece of me? 1,000 THB per 500gm.

DSC_1228-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

We only noticed the fish after we shot it.

BAM, hotel pictures. Got the triple sharing room, which, essentially is just a twin bed with an additional teeny bed. Guess who’s sleeping on that?

DSC_1230-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Note: Laptop not included

DSC_1231-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Hey, I’m home!

DSC_1242-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Took a picture of the pool while I was drunk

A badly focused leisure dive

DSC_1257-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

The water was electrocuted.

DSC_1260-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Sunset view from the balcony.

We had dinner at the Kruathara (aptly named After Tsunami in Thai). Fairly priced seafood restaurant. Epic win. Tuk tuk costs about 100 baht (6 pax) and travel time there is about 4 minutes.

DSC_1282-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Uh, I forget what this was. A plate of diced unicorns, I guess.

DSC_1283-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

Pineapple fried rice. Has nuts and flies. Or raisins, I forget.

DSC_1284-2011-09-13-14-05.jpg

A flaming Tom Yum. We also had some vegetable dish called Som Tum, which was some spicy salad dish. Awesome, since I wasn’t much of a salad eater.

That kind of concludes my first day at Krabi this trip. Stay tuned for more junk.
